Here is a picture of the Hungarian Parlament building that we took on our last night in Budapest. It sits right on the bank of the Danube.

This cool lookout is called the 'fisherman's bastion.

Marijane and Rick standing on the 'fisherman's bastion' with the Parlament in the background.

Don's comment: Does Rick look a little retarded in this picture?

Hori, the 7 year old Bogdan.

Christina, the 10 year old Bogdan.

That's Florin on the left. He's the 19 year old Bogdan and our resident translator. (Hori thinks that Rick looks like a girl).

Don's note: Hori sounds like a smart kid.

Papa Bogdan. Age ???

Mama Bogdan and a plate of chicken. We ate chicken, fish, sausage and bacon that night.

Rick puts on the first stroke of paint at our first job. We painted 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a hall, and a kitchen at a home for transient orphan girls with mental disabilities.

Mar found her niche painting the windows. As Feri would say, She was brilliant.

Mar, Adella, and Mama Julia (don't pronounce that 'J').

This is your brain.

Our main man Feri and his "Misses" MO-NEE-KAH.

The Gypsies we hung out with.

A Gypsy girl holding her second child.

More of the Gypsies.

Here we are hard at work on Feri's house. The guy crouching on the right is also an orphan who is building a house next door through Good Samaritan.

A typical Romanian construction worker.

Don's comment: Is that guy wearing whitey tighties?
