In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It didn't take long after that for people to mess up everything. The pages you are entering contain humorous and yes in some case dumb sayings that have been seen on church signs, bumper stickers, etc. In many cases these signs prove that humans mess up things. I'm not saying churches are dumb, Christians are dumb, or anything like that (read my warning), but some of these sayings are very dumb. If you enjoy this kind of humor, I hope you will find my pages entertaining. Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you see some "Dumb Stuff" while you are out and about. For those that have sent me things, thank you and I apologize at my slow response. I read every e-mail even if I am slow to respond.

History of my Dumb Stuff: The following pages actually began when my friend Michael told me that he liked to collect dumb sayings from church marquees. Thus was born "Michael's Dumb Church Signs!" page (now renamed to simply "Dumb Church Signs!" because too many people have been writing to me (Don) and calling me Michael). It wasn't too long after I started that page when we realized that the silly sayings are not confined to church marquees, so we created the Dumb Bumper Stickers page (affectionately called Dumb BS!). It didn't take too long after that when I started receiving some really stupid e-mails from people, and then was borne "Dumb People Write". Just when I thought there was no hope for the universe, some intelligent people e-mailed me and the "Smart People Write!" was borne.
